Crossdock runs its own audit and verification tools, built and maintained in-house by StoreBuilder Ltd. Each one owns a part of the migration and reports on it in writing.

The structural audit
Telford
- What it checks
- Every page at every screen width from 320 to 1,440 pixels, load speed and Core Web Vitals, and a crawl of the whole site: redirect chains, headings, titles, canonicals and orphan pages.
- What you get
- A structural audit of the old site before the move and the new one after it.
Named after Thomas Telford, the engineer whose bridges and aqueducts still carry traffic two centuries on.
The visual review
Manet
- What it checks
- Whether the new store looks like your brand rather than a template: layout, type, colour, and how the design holds on every device.
- What you get
- A design review with the specific fixes, made before launch rather than after.
Named after Édouard Manet, who painted what he saw rather than what the Salon expected.
The link graph
Euler
- What it checks
- That every link on the site reaches a real destination, and that the pages are woven together rather than stranded.
- What you get
- An internal linking strategy for the new site: which pages need more links, and from where, so search authority reaches the pages that sell. Every broken link is fixed before launch.
Named after Leonhard Euler, who founded graph theory on the bridges of Königsberg.

- What it checks
- Each release of a site we build against the faults that break sites silently: redirect and title rules, form wiring, placeholder text and configuration.
- What you get
- Releases that have passed the gate before they reach your customers.
Named after Fernand Point, whose kitchen at La Pyramide trained a generation of great chefs.
Rankings, reconciled
Kepler
- What it checks
- Tracked search rankings against what Google Search Console records. Where the two disagree, Search Console wins.
- What you get
- A ranking baseline taken before the move, and the same measurement after it.
Named after Johannes Kepler, who trusted the observation over the model.
The watch
Davy
- What it checks
- The things that fail silently after launch: mail, DNS, forms, sitemaps, and a site accidentally left blocked from search.
- What you get
- Warning when something goes dark, instead of hearing it from a customer.
Named after Humphry Davy, whose safety lamp warned miners before the air turned.
The documents a migration leaves you holding
They're written as the work happens and handed over as the work finishes. They stay yours, alongside the store, whoever looks after it next.

Every address on the old site, and where each one goes on the new store.
Ranking baseline
Where the site stands in search before the move, so the result can be measured against it.
Metadata parity sheet
Every page title and description, old against new, so nothing that ranks is lost in the move.
DNS record sheet
The live records before cutover, with the rollback values written down in advance.
Go-live checklist
Domain, mail, store and site, worked through line by line on the night.

Go-live checklist: DNS and mail
- Registrar and DNS host named, with who holds each login
- Current TTL read on every record that changes, lowered a week ahead where needed
- Every DNS record copied, mail above all: MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC
- The old platform kept running until the DNS has moved and mail is tested both ways
