Crossdock is a practice of StoreBuilder Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 09590027. StoreBuilder Ltd is the data controller for anything you send through this site.

What is collected

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your company, your email address, your current platform, and whatever you write in the message.

The systems review form also asks about your operation: the channels you sell through, your SKU count and variant depth, your order volume and peak, where stock is held and who records it, the systems you run now, and what has to be true in eighteen months. Each of these questions is optional.

The form also records which page you sent it from, so StoreBuilder Ltd knows which part of the site prompted the enquiry.

If you accept analytics, visits are counted with Google Analytics (see below). There is no advertising pixel and no other third-party tracking, and if you decline, nothing is collected when you read a page.

Analytics

With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read, and see which pages lead to an enquiry. Nothing from Google loads until you accept. The lawful basis is your consent.

Accepting sets two first-party cookies: _ga, which distinguishes visitors, and _ga_ followed by an ID, which keeps the session. Each lasts up to two years. The data is processed by Google on behalf of StoreBuilder Ltd and may be handled outside the UK.

You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Declining removes the cookies and stops the measurement.

Why, and on what basis

To reply to you, to write your systems review if you asked for one, and, if the work goes further, to scope and quote it. The lawful basis is legitimate interest — you contacted a supplier about a commercial project and expect an answer.

Who sees it

Form submissions are processed by Netlify, which hosts this site, and delivered to a company email account. They are not sold, shared for marketing, or passed to anyone outside StoreBuilder Ltd without asking you first.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within twelve months. Where work follows, records are kept for as long as the engagement and its accounting obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — email tony.cooper@crossdock.co.uk and it will be actioned. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
