Terms

Last updated 27 July 2026

These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the terms of any engagement — that is a separate agreement signed before work starts, and nothing on this site replaces or overrides it.

Who runs this site

Crossdock is a practice of StoreBuilder Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 09590027, at 11 Horton Road, Trench, Telford, Shropshire TF2 6PD.

What the guidance is, and is not

The pages here describe how this kind of work is done in general. They are written from experience and checked before publishing, but they are not advice on any particular business, and no page can account for what is actually running in your systems.

Acting on general guidance without looking at the specific case is a decision you make. Where you want a read on your own operation, that is what the diagnostic is for — and even that is a structured opinion, not a warranty.

Prices are indicative

Any figure published here — including the migration band and any cost stated in an article — is an indication current at the date shown, given so you can judge whether a conversation is worth having. It is not an offer, not a quote, and not capable of acceptance. A price becomes binding only in a written proposal for a defined scope.

Third-party products and links

Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, Adobe Commerce and every other product named on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners, referred to for identification. Naming a product is not a claim of endorsement by, or affiliation with, its owner, beyond any relationship stated explicitly on the page.

Where a commercial relationship exists it is declared — see the disclosure on the systems page. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; their content is not ours and is not checked.

Accuracy and availability

Vendor dates, prices and platform capabilities change. Pages carry the date they were written or last revised, and anything time-sensitive — support deadlines especially — should be checked against the vendor's own published source before you rely on it.

The site is provided as it is. It may change or be unavailable, and there is no undertaking that it will be continuously accessible.

Content

The writing on this site belongs to StoreBuilder Ltd. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome and needs no permission. Reproducing pages wholesale, or presenting the material as someone else's, is not.

Personal data

What the enquiry form collects, why, and how to have it removed is set out in the privacy notice.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
